How it works

Works with the papers you already use.

Grammar school or independent, it's all past and practice papers. Your child keeps doing them with pen and paper, exactly like exam day. The Lab does the review.

Snap the paper

Photograph or scan the completed paper and its mark scheme. Takes a minute.

See what went right

Partial marks are shown properly, so a 2 out of 3 says which part was correct before what to fix.

Learn the fast method

Each lesson points to the question number, page and marks, so it lines up with the paper on the desk.

Practise the weak spot

Two or three new questions per topic, and a running list of topics that keep losing marks.

Start early. Spot the weak topics while there's plenty of time to fix them.

Year 5

The main prep year. Paper, review, practise, repeat, and watch the marks climb.

Why it exists

Doing papers doesn't raise marks. Reviewing them does.

Most 11+ children sit paper after paper and the scores barely move. The paper isn't the problem. The marks are lost in what happens afterwards, when nobody goes through every wrong answer properly.

A tutor does that review by the hour. Most parents don't have the time, or don't know the fastest method a ten-year-old should use, or how the mark scheme hands out partial marks.

Your 11+ Lab closes that gap. Every paper gets reviewed the same day it's sat. Every lost mark gets the quickest method, and every weak topic gets practised until it stops losing marks.

Built by an 11+ parent and tested through a real Year 6 exam year.
